Description:
The Newaygo Co. Museum originally began in the mid-1970's in the old Powerhouse on the Muskegon River in Newaygo.  That building closed in 2006 and the artifacts have been in storage until recently.  We re-opened on Memorial Day weekend 2011 and are striving to establish a permanent museum in Newaygo County.  One that is self-sustaining and representative of all the people in the county.
